"Glenner has been invaluable in coping with my mom's Alzheimer's diagnosis. Glenner Town Square provided compassionate, skilled staff that allowed my mom to thrive, to feel valued and dignified, despite the disease. Meanwhile, it gave our family a break from the frustrations of the disease so that we could attend to my mom's needs with more tender, loving patience. The experiences at Glenner gave our family lighthearted, laughter-filled, joyful experiences that have created such fond memories. One of the most valuable tools for me was the knowledge and emotional support I gained by having access to a weekly support group. The more I understood the disease, the easier it was to navigate. “My dad has been going to the Glenner Center since late February. They just moved into Town Square two weeks ago, this is week 3, maybe week 4.
