THE GLENNER VOLUNTEER PROGRAM
The George G. Glenner Alzheimer’s Family Centers, Inc.® offer volunteer opportunities for kind, compassionate individuals interested in making a difference in the life of seniors with dementia in San Diego County.
The mission of our program is to recruit, train, educate & connect volunteers to augment the experience of our participants in our specialized adult day centers.
Guardian Angel Volunteers will further enhance our enrichment program that engages participants in social, physical, intellectual & educational activities. Volunteers can provide one-on-one companionship or assistance with group activities.

- Volunteer in one of the Glenner Centers’ specialized adult day centers or for one of our Support Office departments
- Minors 16+ welcome with accompanying adult

GET STARTED
- Submit an application
- Call to schedule an interview via email or phone
- Attend interview with Director of Volunteer Services
- Complete background check through an authorized vendor (program will cover this fee)
- Submit recent negative TB tests results (can be done free of charge at our Encinitas & Chula Vista locations)
- Submit proof of covid vaccine (exemption requests accepted)
