The masterminds behind this thought-provoking film are Josh Izenberg and Brett Marty.

JOSH IZENBERG
Director & Producer

Josh Izenberg is a director, producer, and writer based in Oakland, California. He directed his first low-budget feature in the mountains of Appalachia and has since worked on documentary projects covering surfing veterans and Peruvian drug rehab. His short documentary, SLOMO, won over a dozen awards, including best short documentary at SXSW and the IDA award. It premiered as a New York Times Op-Doc. Josh hails from Michigan and is proud to have been, at different times, a cab driver, a carpenter, and a fishmonger.

Brett Marty

BRETT MARTY
Director & Producer

Brett Marty started as a commercial director and made the transition to long-form filmmaking with a handful of documentary projects and his narrative directorial debut: YOUTH, which is currently being developed as a full-length feature. Before advertising – where he has directed over 75 pieces for over 50 companies – Brett worked as a documentary film editor. In previous lives, he studied ceramic sculpture at UC Berkeley, drove an old Buick from San Francisco to the tip of South America, and works as a photojournalist on the campaign trail during presidential elections.

Film length is 32 minutes. Premiere followed by Q & A with the Director, Producer and select Glenner Team Members.
