The George G. Glenner Alzheimer’s Family Centers, Inc.® offer volunteer opportunities for kind, compassionate individuals interested in making a difference in the life of seniors in San Diego County.

VOLUNTEER FOR THE GEORGE G. GLENNER ALZHEIMER’S FAMILY CENTERS, INC.®

  • Established in 1982
  • 501(c)(3) non-profit organization
  • Volunteer at one of three local dementia-specific day care centers
  • Flexible, convenient hours
  • Minors 16+ welcome with accompanying adult

VOLUNTEER FOR THE GUARDIAN ANGEL PROGRAM

  • Established in 2001 by San Diego County Supervisors Dianne Jacob and Pam Slater-Price
  • Funded by Aging & Independence Services, County of San Diego
  • Managed by the George G. Glenner Alzheimer’s Family Centers, Inc.
  • Volunteer in residential care communities and skilled nursing facilities throughout San Diego
  • Provide vital socialization for isolated seniors
  • Flexible, convenient hours
  • Minors 16+ welcome with accompanying adult
