Hillcrest

For thirty years, our little blue house in Hillcrest has provided safe and professional care for adults suffering from Alzheimer’s Disease and related dementias. Our R.N.-supervised program offers structured music, exercise, and art and craft programs. Our experienced staffing ratio of 5:1 provides focused, supportive care. Socialization and sensory stimulation in a warm, familial atmosphere enhances the ability of a compromised participant to build on past experiences and talents, and be the best that they can be. All participant efforts are warmly appreciated and accepted as friendships develop, and connections with the staff are made.

In this journey, the participant’s caregiver is their partner and therefore also a primary focus of our concerns. We offer weekly support group meetings, individual sharing of needs and concerns, and make every effort to validate and enable the caregiver in their navigation of today’s healthcare system. We consider it a privilege to be part of an agency which has made a priority of caring for those who have given so much to us.
